The Vendor/Contractor shall supply all materials, labor, and equipment to provide towing and roadside services for Hernando County's Fleet Maintenance. Towing operators shall be appropriately licensed for the type and size of the vehicle that needs to be towed (i.e.: Class E, Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License), Class B CDL). Towing equipment shall be capable of handling large, heavy-duty vehicles, such as but not limited to fire trucks, vacuum trucks, and other heavy equipment in addition to standard light vehicle towing. Articulator with a working capacity of fifty plus (50+) tons is required. The Vendor/Contractor shall provide services in a first class, professional manner, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, three hundred and sixty-five (365) days a year. This is an indefinite quantity contract with no guarantee of the use of services or guarantee of a minimum or maximum dollar amount to be expended. All work shall be in strict compliance with the latest codes, standards, and practices, and in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws
