Town of Apex Big Branch 1 Pump Station

The Town of Apex, through RXR Len Apex Owner, LLC, is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the Big Branch 1 Pump Station in Apex, North Carolina. This project involves the development of a quad-plex submersible sewer pump station with a buildout capacity of approximately 9.0 million gallons per day. The scope of work includes the construction of a 36 by 45 foot wet well equipped with a grinder and bar screen in the influent channels, four 231 HP submersible pumps, liquid and vapor phase odor control systems, an electrical building, a backup generator, and all associated piping and controls. The project is governed by NC General Statute 143-129 and is managed by project engineer LKC Engineering, PLLC. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Town of Apex Water Resources Department by 2:00 PM local time on October 22, 2024. To be considered compliant, submissions must include a 5% bid bond and a notarized Affidavit of Good Faith Efforts documenting the recruitment of small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses. Bidding documents are available from LKC Engineering, PLLC for a non-refundable fee of $250. While a pre-bid conference was scheduled for October 9, 2024, all final proposals must be delivered as physical sealed bids, as electronic submissions are not accepted.
