The municipality will develop a comprehensive Recreation, Culture and Open Space Master Plan to guide investment, programming, service delivery, and infrastructure planning over the next 10–15 years. This plan will replace the 2010 Recreation and Open Space Plan and Trail Master Plan and will integrate findings from the 2019 Recreation, Culture and Leisure Assessment (Appendix “B) to ensure alignment with current community needs, demographic changes, emerging recreation trends, and anticipated municipal growth. The plan will provide strategic direction for parks, cultural assets, indoor/outdoor recreation facilities, programs, trails, natural areas, and community partnerships.
