It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. 


The 918th Contracting Battalion is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing a Trackless Moving Target (TMT) Antenna. The Government is seeking to identify qualified and responsible vendors who can meet the technical specifications and a highly accelerated delivery schedule


Technical Requirements


The anticipated requirement is for two (2) TMT Antennas that must meet the following minimum salient characteristics:


  • Compatibility: Must have programmed control for TMT Systems
  • Antenna Mast:
    • 31.5 feet high with a tripod base that extends for stability
    • Two (2) inch diameter mast
    • 50-pound load capability
    • Collapsible for transport
    • Capability to mount antenna array on without causing instability in normal weather conditions
    • Adjustable to varying terrain to ensure system can be used throughout all range complexes
  • Antenna: 
    • Capable of expanding operations exponentially of the TMT system on the range complex
    • Omni-Directional
    • Capable of controlling both current and future TMT systems that Fort Carson may acquire
