Trade Package - Cargo Building 720.1 & GSE Building 742 Project - TP-32E2 - Fencing (AOA)

Skanska USA Building has been contracted to undertake the design and construction of a new cargo facility at an airport site in California, replacing an existing structure. The project encompasses a single-story building of approximately 120,000 square feet, with about 95,000 square feet dedicated to cargo storage and 25,000 square feet allocated for mezzanine office space. The facility will include landside maneuvering space for around 30 trucks and an ancillary Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Facility of roughly 17,000 square feet, which will be separate from the main cargo building. Construction involves demolishing the existing Building 730 to make way for the new structures. A specific trade package, TP-32E2, focuses on the procurement and installation of approximately 585 feet of permanent AOA fencing, conforming to SFO standards. This scope includes concrete barriers, vinyl-covered chain link fencing, and posts, ensuring secure perimeter fencing for the cargo area. The project solicitation was posted in October 2025, with a response deadline in November 2025, and falls within a contract size range of $500,000 to $1.5 million.
