Trail Bridge Inspector for the National Forests of North Carolina

The USDA Forest Service has a requirement for a qualified Engineer or certified Engineering Technician to provide services as a Trail Bridge Inspector. The duties of the individual include but are not limited to: Complete all phases of inspection on Forest Service trail bridges using inspection criteria as written in FS manuals, handbooks, and guides. Work will be performed as needed for up to 8 hours per day if necessary and be available to perform the duties of this position Monday through Saturday on an on-call basis when necessary. The work will usually average 25 hours a month. This contract will consist of a Base Period and 2 Option periods. Option Periods are planned but not guaranteed. Options are exercised at the Government's sole discretion.
