Training for AECTS Test Stand

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis, to Testek, Inc. Wixom, MI (CAGE: 06659) to provide services necessary that addresses requirements for training qualified individuals in the removal, installation, alignment, and checkout of DC Motor and Gearbox for the end item Aircraft Engine Components Test Stand (AECTS) to ensure Fleet readiness. Testek, Inc is the only known source with the knowledge and technical data to provide instructional services on the Aircraft Engine Components Test Stant (AECTS). Testek, Inc. is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Aircraft Engine Components Test Stand (AECTS) and retains all the proprietary/technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary training on the Aircraft Engine Components Test Stand (AECTS). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
