Transfer of Plumas County Flood Control and Water Conservation District’s State Water Project Table A Water and/or Article 56 Carryover Water

This agreement facilitates the transfer and delivery of water resources from the Plumas County Flood Control and Water Conservation District to specific entities within the Westside Districts through December 31, 2026. Under contract SWP 26020, up to 790 acre-feet of approved 2026 State Water Project Table A Water will be transferred to the Kern County Water Agency for the benefit of the Belridge, Berrenda Mesa, Lost Hills, and Wheeler Ridge-Maricopa Water Storage Districts. Additionally, contract SWP 26021 governs the transfer of 43 acre-feet of Article 56 Carryover Water to the Dudley Ridge Water District. These transactions are managed through the California Department of Water Resources and involve coordination between the general manager of Plumas County and water resource managers from the receiving agencies.
