Transfer of Solano County Water Agency’s 2025 State Water Project Table A Water and/or Article 56 Carryover Water to Dudley Ridge WD and Kern County WA

On September 2, 2025, Solano and the Westside Districts, which consist of Dudley Ridge and four KCWA member units (Belridge Water Storage District, Berrenda Mesa Water District, Lost Hills Water District, and Wheeler Ridge – Maricopa Water Storage District) entered into a “Term Sheet for Water Purchase Between SCWA and the Westside Districts” (Solano/Westside Agreement). The Solano/Westside Agreement contains provisions governing the terms and conditions for the transfer of up to 650 acre-feet of Solano’s 2025 Table A Water and for the transfer of up to 9,000 acre-feet of Solano’s Article 56 Carryover Water to the Westside Districts. DWR has approved the transfers under the Solano/Westside Agreement under three separate transfer agreements as follows: (1) SWP #25029 provides for the transfer and delivery of up to 650 acre-feet of Solano’s approved 2025 Table A water to Dudley Ridge and/or KCWA; (2) SWP #25030 provides for the transfer and delivery of 7,481 acre-feet of Solano’s Article 56 Carryover Water to KCWA; and (3) SWP #25036 provides for the transfer and delivery of 1,519 acre-feet of Solano’s Article 56 Carryover Water to Dudley Ridge. Deliveries shall be completed by December 31, 2025.
