AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of one power transformer, identified by NSN 5950-01-332-8060, under solicitation SPE7M1-26-Q-1340 issued by the Department of Defense’s Maritime Supply Chain through DLA Land and Maritime. Delivery is required 184 days after the order date, with FOB Origin terms meaning title and risk transfer to the government upon shipment from the supplier’s facility. The item must be delivered to Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, where both inspection and acceptance occur. The pricing structure is firm fixed price with zero variance allowed in quantity, and payment must be processed electronically via Wide Area WorkFlow. Packaging and preservation must strictly adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E, specifying dry climate control with no preservation or wrap materials, and labeling and marking must conform to MIL-STD-129 with no special marking required; the packaging code and container specifications are detailed to ensure compatibility with DLA logistics systems. Sampling for quality assurance follows MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances in the sample lot unless otherwise specified, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. Technical and quality requirements are incorporated by reference from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and clauses on veteran employment reporting, sustainable products, and subcontracting for commercial items are included with approved deviations. Government identification must be removed from non-accepted supplies, and any production facility change requires prior written approval from the contracting officer and results in a $250 price reduction per order. The solicitation is not a small business set-aside, and while representation clauses are included, no offeror information or certifications are provided. All compliance is governed by referenced military standards, and no evaluation factors or contract value are explicitly stated in the document.
