Zero non-conformances are required unless otherwise stated, and MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4 may be used only to determine sample size, not acceptance criteria. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited from intentional addition or direct contact with supplied hardware, except for functional uses in batteries, fluorescent lamps, instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or specified reagents, with portable mercury-containing devices requiring shock resistance and secondary containment per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Configuration control is enforced through engineering change proposals and variance requests, and the technical data package is not available from DLA. The contract was posted on July 28, 2026, with responses due by August 10, 2026.
