TRANSMITTER, TEMPERATURE, ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE

The Department of National Defence is soliciting bids for two identical electrical resistance temperature transmitters, part number 0556-015-0003, manufactured by WEED INSTRUMENT COMPANY, INC. with NCAGE code 33969, with four units required for delivery to CFB Halifax and four units to CFB Esquimalt. All items must be packaged individually per package in strict compliance with the Canadian Forces Packaging Specification D-LM-008-036/SF-000 and labeled with UCC/EAN-128 barcodes incorporating Application Identifiers 241 for the Permanent System Control Number and 7001 for the NATO Stock Number, with human-readable interpretation beneath each barcode, conforming to D-02-002-001/SG-001 standards for identification marking of Canadian military property. The contract operates under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, meaning the supplier bears all costs, risks, and responsibilities for transportation, customs clearance, and duties until physical receipt at the designated Canadian Forces Bases. Bidders may propose equivalent or substitute products but must provide full technical specifications, descriptive literature, warranty continuity guarantees, and the NCAGE of the alternative manufacturer, along with certification that the substitute meets form, fit, function, quality, and performance standards of the original. The evaluation process is strictly Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), where technical compliance is a binary pass/fail criterion based on adherence to mandatory requirements including proper part number, NCAGE, and submission of equivalent product documentation if applicable.
