Trauma and Clinical Care Research

Navel Health Research Command - The US Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA, has a requirement to provide Animal Research Management in support of Trauma and Clinical Care Research (TCCR); United States Air Force Trauma and Resuscitation Research Program (AFT2R) to manage animal/live tissue studies in the fields of hemorrhage, resuscitation, endovascular technologies, extra-corporeal life support and molecular biology. This includes scientific, management, technical and administrative services in support of all funded studies requiring pre-study preparation such as regulatory submission process, set-up of files, laboratory procedures, data collection times and study completion. Actual work location will be at the 59th Medical Wing Office of the Chief Scientist and Clinical Research Division (59MDW/ST, 59MDW/CRD) Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, and Tri-Service Research Laboratory, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX. Eagle Medical Services, LLC has been assisting the customer with similar animal studies and is performing under contract W81K00-13-P-0383 and possesses specialized knowledge and skill of research factors governing this requirement, soliciting to other contractor would jeopardize the research work already accomplished under the current contract. This contractor is an SBA Certified 8a Alaskan Native Owned Firm. The Government anticipates issuing a contract on a sole source basis to Eagle Medical Services, LLC for this requirement.
