La Ville souhaite recevoir des soumissions relativement aux travaux de déneigement des voies publiques, c'est-à-dire des rues, des stationnements, des sentiers et trottoirs de la ville pour les saisons hivernales 2026-2027, 2027-2028 et 2028-2029. Le contrat de déneigement inclut de façon non limitative, le déblaiement, le grattage, l’enlèvement et le transport de la neige, les élargissements des chemins et des intersections, ainsi que le déglaçage à taux horaire. L’adjudicataire doit fournir tout le personnel, l’outillage et l’équipement requis pour déblayer jusqu’au pavage sur toute la largeur des rues mentionnées au présent devis technique. De plus, il doit ajouter le personnel et le matériel supplémentaire nécessaire afin d’éviter tout retard. L’adjudicataire doit exécuter son contrat dans la ville avec diligence et selon les termes et conditions prévus aux documents d’appel d’offres. La durée initiale du présent contrat est de trois (3) ans ou trente-six (36) mois fermes, du 1er octobre 2026 au 30 septembre 2029. Deux options de renouvellement d’un an chacune sont possibles dans le cadre du présent contrat. Si la ville décide de lever chaque option, elles commenceront respectivement le 1er octobre 2029 et le 1er octobre 2030. Malgré ce qui précède, l’exécution des travaux de déneigement pour chaque saison hivernale est prévue débuter le 1er novembre et se terminer au 30 avril de chaque année. Sont requis dans le cadre de cet appel d'offres: une garantie de soumission correspond à 10% de la valeur du contrat avec taxes, payables à l'ordre de la ville de Kirkland; et une garantie d'exécution de 50% du montant global du contrat taxes incluses, toujours en faveur de la ville de Kirkland.
