GDI Partners is dedicated to fostering collaboration between the Department of Defense, local communities, and small businesses to drive innovation, support commercialization of technology, and stimulate job growth. Their approach centers on building relationships and educating stakeholders about the Warfighter's needs, current innovations, and available federal funding programs. A key initiative is the annual TRIAD event, designed to help companies navigate federal opportunities and connect with influential military representatives. The upcoming second annual TRIAD in Ohio will take place at Franklin University in Columbus from August 19-23, 2019, featuring educational sessions, direct pitching opportunities to U.S. Combatant Command science and technology scouts, and networking events aimed at facilitating connections and business growth. Hosted by the Department of Defense’s Air Force Material Command office at Wright Patterson AFB, this event provides a platform for small businesses and innovators to engage with federal buyers and decision-makers. Last year’s TRIAD resulted in over 350 introductions between companies and military representatives, leading to nearly $2 million in funding. The contract information includes points of contact for small business assistance and contracting at the Air Force Material Command, supporting interested parties in registration and participation. The initiative embodies a strategic effort to accelerate technology development and procurement through collaboration, education, and relationship-building within the defense sector.

At GDI Partners (GDI) we are committed to connecting the dots to accelerate innovation. Whether it's expanding a business, revitalizing a rural population, growing local industry or solving a technology challenge, we are the relationship builders. By working with our clients and a vast network of partners, we find new ways to collaborate and identify resources to support big ideas. GDI has created an environment to promote active collaboration with federal agencies, working together to bring forward needed innovations, support small businesses and grow jobs. This is achieved using two key strategies: Facilitating relationships between the Department of Defense (DOD), local communities and small businesses Educating stakeholders about the challenges facing the Warfighter, the innovations being developed in U.S. companies, and the federal funding and assistance programs available to support the commercialization of needed technologies. The combination of these strategies supports the development of companies who participate in the annual TRIAD (Technology Requirements & Innovation Awareness Days) event in Ohio. TRIAD teaches attendees how to identify and pursue opportunities within the federal funding system. We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our 2nd annual TRIAD Ohio. The event will be in Columbus at Franklin University on August 19-23, 2019. Reserve your spot now! Register at: https://www.gdipartners.com/triad-ohio Attending companies and supporting organizations will learn about what the DoD wants, how to get the attention of buyers and decision makers, and who can help them secure contracts. In addition, 50 companies will have the chance to pitch their innovations directly to science and technology scouts from the U.S. Combatant Commands, and those with emerging technology will get a chance to present their innovations during a Showcase Networking Event. During this event, we will be creating a space where representatives from the Department of Defense (DoD) can get to know innovative companies with great technology and work together to solve major challenges for the U.S. Warfighter. Last year, participating companies connected with more than 20 different military and government representatives, leading to more than 350 valuable introductions. Those companies have cumulatively received nearly $2 million in funding to date! Please consider joining us for what looks to be an amazing week. We look forward to keeping you up to date on TRIAD and much more through our GDI newsletter. To subscribe please visit: https://www.gdipartners.com/contact and join our mailing list. Thanks for your continued to support. We look forward to seeing you in August!
