TSPS - Support Services for the Divestiture and Transformation of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation

This is a notice of proposed procurement. The Government of Canada requires a support services provider to plan, manage, and perform the divestiture of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation (FFMC) under the direction of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. This divestiture is intended to lead to a negotiated agreement with an approved buyer for the purchase and ownership of the FFMC within approximately two years. The goal is to transform the FFMC’s governance and ownership model in a way that will promote Indigenous economic reconciliation, Indigenous participation, and continued service to northern, remote, and Indigenous communities and with the aim of providing continued marketing services to the communities that it serves. Duration of Contract: from contract award to May 30, 2026 with the irrevocable option to extend the resulting contract for six months.
