AI Contract Overview
This contract specifies the procurement of a metallic probe tube, part number 2255760, for use in ship fueling at sea operations, with a total quantity of 24 units required. The tube is constructed from seamless aluminum alloy 6061, with a wall thickness of 0.750 inches and an overall diameter of 8.500 inches, and is required to meet SAE AMS-QQ-A-200/8 standards with a temper tolerance allowing T6511 in lieu of T6510. Detailed dimensional specifications are provided for both ends, including groove widths, diameters, and undercut lengths, and the total measured length is 38.000 inches. The product must be hard anodized per MIL-A-8625 Type 3 Class 1 and sealed, and all items must be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129, including contract number, lot and serial numbers, contractor CAGE code, manufacturer code, and part number. The contract imposes strict cybersecurity and compliance requirements, mandating that the supplier be a CMMC Level 2 Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization and that all delivered items comply with covered defense information protocols. Ozone-depleting chemicals are strictly prohibited, and any substitute chemicals require prior approval. Technical data associated with this item is subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, and dissemination to foreign persons—whether abroad or within the U.S.—is restricted without explicit authorization; only DLA-approved contractors with JCP certification and completed training may access such data. The acquisition is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 331210, with a response deadline in July 2026 and delivery expected within 168 days of award, governed by DLA packaging, quality, and technical requirements referenced in the DLA Master List.
