TUBING, SURGICAL

This contract is for the procurement of surgical tubing described as a 144-inch long, nonconductive, flexible plastic funnel taper tubing designed for suction during surgical procedures. The tubing is transparent, autoclave sterilizable, and individually packaged in sets of 20 each. It features connectors with one end having a female connector and the other end possibly a rigid male connector, and it must be capable of ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilization without deterioration. The product must comply with a shelf life requirement of 60 months, non-extendable, with no more than nine months elapsed between manufacture and delivery to the government. Labels on the product packages are required to include the National Stock Number (NSN), manufacturer and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes, manufacturing date, expiration or retest date, and contract or lot number. The contract incorporates specific technical and quality requirements as defined by the Defense Logistics Agency Master List and requires adherence to DLA packaging standards. Delivery is expected within 20 days to a location in Annville, and the solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense's Medical Supply Chain office with points of contact provided for coordination.
