Full Description

The Army Contracting Agency, White Sands Missile Range, Directorate of Cointracting intends to procure A Tunnel Detection System on a Sole Source Basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). The Government intends to award a contract to Geo physical Survey Systems, Inc., 13 Klein Drive, North Salem, NH 03073-0097, for Part No: FGMOD620, MODEL 620 Survey Wheel Encoder Assembly with 16 inch wheel (for use with 5103, 5106, 3207P and 3207AP); Part Number FGCC30/19-11 . The NAICS Code and the sm all business size standard for this procurement are 334511 and 750 employees. The requirement is set aside 100% for small business. Geophysical Survey Systems is the sole source because they are the manufacturer. They are the only company that can provi de the items at this time.
