Tyndall AFB is conducting market research to identify qualified and capable 8(a) small business concerns capable of performing the requirements described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).


This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes ONLY and does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposal, invitation for bid, or an offer by the Government. The Government is seeking information from interested 8(a) firms to assist in determining the availability and capability of qualified sources for this requirement.


The anticipated acquisition is a competitive 8(a) set aside. The Government intends to use the information received in response to this notice to support acquisition planning and determine the availability of capable 8(a) concerns to compete for the anticipated requirement.


Interested 8(a) concerns are requested to provide a brief capability statement demonstrating their ability to perform the requirements identified in the PWS. Responses should include, at a minimum:


  1. Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address.
  2. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and CAGE Code.
  3. Confirmation of current 8(a) program eligibility.
  4. Applicable NAICS code and confirmation that the firm qualifies as a small business under the applicable size standard.
  5. A brief description of the firm’s relevant experience performing requirements of similar size, scope, and complexity.

Responses should be concise and directly address the firm’s capability and interest to perform the requirements described in the PWS. Respondents should not submit proprietary, competition sensitive, or otherwise protected information unless appropriately marked.


The Government may use information received from this notice to refine the requirement, conduct additional market research, and inform the acquisition strategy for the anticipated procurement.
