FEDBIZOPS NOTICE OF INTENT FOR SOLE SOURCE: USAR Contracting Center- South, Department of the Army, intends to award a sole source for a commercial purchase of Training for Trainers in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Workshop consisting of a five (5) day workshop to Livingworks Education USA, Inc. The ASIST training program is approved by the Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G-1) for Army Suicide Intervention Trainers. The materials specific to this training program is the proprietary property of Livingworks Education USA, Inc. This service is considered a unique service and is available from only one responsible source with capabilities to satisfy the agency requirements. This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1 and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit a capability statement. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received at least (5) days after the publication of this special notice, the contract will be awarded without further notice.
