The USBP Headquarters, Logistics Management Division, Agent Support Equipment program (ASE) is required to provide Border Patrol agents with an effective and purposeful inventory of personally issued equipment that enables or enhances the ability of Border Patrol agents to perform their duties in the field as safely and effectively as possible. This includes bump helmets and related accessories as deemed necessary by USBP.
