The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Strategic Acquisition Center, has issued a modification to cancel the pre-solicitation notice for solicitation number VA119-14-Q-0096. This procurement was originally intended to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for curriculum development services, including all necessary labor, supervision, materials, and travel, to support the Contracting Professionals School within the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy. The cancellation was decided upon after a review determined that the required services are already available under an existing contract. This current arrangement will provide the necessary support until the larger Acquisition Curriculum Development Contract is awarded, thereby eliminating redundancy and the duplication of effort. The original opportunity was designated as a set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses under NAICS code 611710.
