UH-60 BLACK HAWK Blue Force Tracker 2 (BFT2) Installation Kits Army Contracting Command - Redstone intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis, an increase in quantity of the Blue Force Tracker 2 (BFT2) Installation Kits and associated sub-components to the existing five year firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract W58RGZ-17-D-0033 awarded May 2017. The contract was awarded to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Sikorsky), a Lockheed Martin Company, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code: 78286 on a sole source basis. The Government intends to award this requirement under the authority of Title 10, United States Code, Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the developer of BFT2 Installation Kits, only Sikorsky possesses the technical expertise, proprietary data, and experience necessary to execute this requirement. The Government intends to solicit to, and negotiate with, only one source. Anyone that may be interested in subcontracting opportunities is encouraged to contact Sikorsky at the address stated above. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued to any contractor other than Sikorsky. This requirement is not currently funded.
