UH Reno TV Installation Project

Michigan Medicine has issued Request for Proposal RFP-0012443-TECH-2026 for the supply, installation, and support of healthcare audiovisual systems as part of an 87-bed renovation at University Hospital. The project focuses on reconfiguring semi-private rooms into private rooms and creating expanded patient suites within the Main Adult Hospital, with potential additional work in the Bone Marrow Transplant units 8B and 8C. The required hardware includes LG patient and public TVs, LG digital signage for sickbay and employee information, and Curbell pillow speakers. All displays must be covered by an LG 24/7 Quick Swap White Glove 5-Year Total Term Service Plan. The selected contractor will be responsible for the full installation and the provision of a detailed inventory list containing serial numbers and MAC addresses to facilitate warranty administration. Final acceptance is contingent upon the resolution of all post-commissioning punch-list items. Proposals will be evaluated based on project staffing, resumes, the execution plan, risk management, and experience with similar healthcare or higher education clients. The University requires interviews with key personnel prior to the project start and mandates that all orders include standard ground shipping at no additional cost.
