This is a sole source synopsis announcement and not a solicitation. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the American Academy of Family Physicians, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood, Kansas, 66211, to procure their UDS Mapper tool services which contains a proprietary mapping platform built for HRSA. The period of performance shall be for one 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods. This effort is in support of the HRSA, Bureau of Primary Health Care health centers. This notice is provided pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) and FAR part 6.302-1: the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research was conducted prior to the posting this notice and the American Academy of Family Physicians is the only source who can provide the required mapping services that the health centers rely on. The intent of this notice is not to solicit competitive offers. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, interested offerors may submit their capabilities or a response via email before the closing date and time of this notice to the Government for consideration. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests.
