Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) And Power Conditioning And Distribution Systems Maintenance Services At DMV Headquarters Building East And The DMV Central Utility Plant (CUP)

The California Department of Motor Vehicles is soliciting bids for a 24-month contract to provide scheduled, emergency, and unscheduled repair services for Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), power conditioning and distribution systems, and Schneider Electric solar inverters. The work will be performed at the DMV Headquarters Building East and the Central Utility Plant in Sacramento. The scope includes annual preventative maintenance, quarterly battery inspections, and the replacement of specific components for Liebert, Eaton, and APC Smart models. The contractor must provide 24/7 on-call emergency services with a maximum on-site response time of four hours. To be eligible, bidders must possess a valid C-10 contractor license and have at least five years of experience servicing Liebert Series 600 and Eaton Powerware 9355 Model 30 UPS systems. The contract requires adherence to California prevailing wage laws and various non-discrimination mandates, including Title VI and the ADA. Award evaluation is based on responsiveness, responsibility, and the reasonableness of cost. Selected contractors must provide a payment bond if the total bid exceeds 25,000 dollars and must submit invoices in fifteen-minute labor increments.
