The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division plans to modify an existing sole source firm fixed price contract with Tracewell Systems by increasing the quantities of specific parts procured. The contract modification includes an increase of five units each for the Universal Keyboard Chassis, Navigation Processing Unit Chassis, and Common Data Recorder Chassis, as well as an increase of thirty-nine units for the CDRU Shuttle Drive Chassis. The quantity for the TTX400 Power Supply remains unchanged at forty-one units. These components are uniquely manufactured by Tracewell Systems to meet specific technical requirements outlined for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Navigation (C4N) systems. Due to the specialized nature and sole production capability of Tracewell for these parts, the procurement is being conducted without full and open competition. The contract modification is classified under the NAICS code 334511, with a size standard of 750 employees. Interested parties are invited to express their interest or capability to fulfill the requirements, although this notice does not constitute a request for competitive proposals. Responses will be considered at the discretion of the Government. The point of contact for inquiries is Stuart Burman at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, with responses required within five days of the notification’s publication. The modification underscores the necessity of maintaining compatibility and interchangeability with existing LCAC C4N systems through proprietary components provided solely by Tracewell Systems.
