UP-24;11-2 Vertical Bridge Tower 100’ Monopine

The Amador County Planning Commission has approved Use Permit UP-24;11-2 for the installation of a 100-foot-tall monopine design wireless communication tower located at 2650 Curran Rd, Ione, California. The project scope includes the installation of 10 panel antennae along with associated tower and ground equipment, all situated within a 40 by 40 foot enclosed lease area at APN 003-740-014. The project was approved on August 12, 2025, following a public hearing and a review by the Technical Advisory Committee. It is consistent with the Amador County General Plan and the C1 Retail Commercial and Office zoning district, as well as County Code sections 19.48.150 and 19.56.040. Environmental compliance was established through a Mitigated Negative Declaration and a Notice of Determination filed on August 15, 2025, confirming that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
