REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FROM INDUSTRY Upgrade of Power Equipment and HVAC Equipment THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This notice requests industry assistance/expertise to define the US Government's need and the cost associated for a potential future requirement/project. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the US Government. Product/Information provided in response to this RFI is for US Government use only. US Government seeking voluntary submissions at no cost. The US Government has not committed to procuring any of the items/services discussed. The release of this RFI should/shall not be construed as a commitment or as authorization to incur a cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions/responses shall be considered the property of the US Government property and will not be returned. NAICS: 238220 and 335999 OPPORTUNITY The United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, has the responsibility of maintaining and upkeep systems for an essential function within the United States Marine Corp. These systems are housed within a single location. This location is on Quantico, Marine Corps Base, Quantico VA 22134. The systems in question are the existing HVAC/Cooling equipment and Back-Up Generator/ Uninterrupted Power Supply. The cost of maintaining existing systems is exceeding the respective system's overall current value. An industry solution is sought to provide a solution to utilize US Government resources better, meet the Marine Corps mission, and maximize unknown opportunities with the near or latest systems/technology available. Also being asked, for budgeting purposes only, what that cost is. The information provided in response is only as limited as the Industry feels comfortable providing. If a recommended solution is provided, it is asked to explain how an identified solution interacts with other systems and why the recommendation. The industry partners (company) that respond to this RFI will of assumed to have interest in such a requirement and company specifics retained for future use. SITE VISIT A site visit opportunity is open to the Industry to understand current site conditions and where the US Government will provide further information concerning this opportunity. The site visit information is as follows: Where: Marine Corps Base, Quantico VA 22134 When: 6th, 13th,20th, and 27nd of October 2021. Starting time to be provided at a later date. (Limited to 3 industy partners (a company and its represenatives) a visit/ per day. Please be flexiable on a date as arrangments will be made on first come first serve basis) Who: Industry Partner and US Government * What: No tools will be provided by US Government. Please be prepared to, for example, measure, take notes, provide interpretive/translator, etc. PPE: Face covering is required. Picture/video taking is not authorized. It is estimated that this site visit will take 3 (Three) hours. Please plan accordingly, as participants may be required to remain in place until the conclusion of the site visit. *SPECIAL NOTE: Limited to 2 (Two) representatives for a given company/industry partner. If late to site visit please understand that logistics may prevent the company from participating.
