Upgrading Omni Arms of A-10 Aircraft

SPECIAL NOTICE: The Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Specialized Contracting Office (PZIMA), intends to negotiate with D-CHECK DEVELOPMENTS, Inc., Milner, Georgia, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source, to upgrade the power drive on the Omni Arm of the A-10 Aircraft. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413, and the business size is 1,000. This is an urgent requirement. D-Check Developments, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the Omni Arm. Therefore, they have the proprietary data rights to NSN: 4920-01-490-0708. Due to the proprietary nature of this requirement, it is determined that D-Check Developments, Inc. is the only source available, and no other vendor can fulfill this requirement. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed in the attached Purchase Specifications may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
