Full Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services, Inc., for battery replacement for the uninterruptible power supply/source (UPS) in order to provide emergency power to a load should the input power source fail. Leibert Corporation is the manufacturer of the system and recognizes Emerson Network Power as the only authorized service provider for the power product line. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive date of this notice effective March 3, 2015. Point of contact is Rebecca Stegall, email contact@example.gov. The proposed award is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services, Inc. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (DEC 2014) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (DEC 2014) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items and will be used in conjunction with FAR Part 13.
