US Army Corps of Engineers Far East District Industry Day

PURPOSE: The US Army Corps of Engineers Far East District (USACE FED) plans to hold an Industry Day for contractors interested in doing business with the USACE FED. The Industry Day will provide general information on contracting with the Federal Government and specifics about contracting with the USACE FED. The USACE FED current and prospective contractors are welcomed to attend this event. GOAL: The Industry Day will serve the FED in understanding the capabilities of Industry and obtain Industry's input on the most effective means of meeting the FED's contracting requirements. The event will also assist Industry on how to do business with the Federal Government, foster networking within Industry and gain Industry input and to answer Industry questions. The FED plans to share with the contractor community the followings: - The System for Award Management (SAM) Registration - The D&B DUNS Number Registration - FED Prequalified Construction Contractor Process - FED Current Contracting Needs - FED Future Contracting Needs - Panel Discussion (Topic: To be determined) MEETING LOCATION, DATE AND TIME INFORMATION: Location: US Army Garrison (USAG) Yong San Movie Theater (Use the entrance gate #13 near Ichon Subway Station) Date: Friday, 27 October 2017 Time: 09:00AM to 16:00PM REGISTRATION SUSPENSE: This event is free of charge. However, registration is mandatory to attend. The suspense for the registration is by 17:00PM on 10 October 2017 in Korean Time. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Provide the US Passport Number and English Name on the Passport for US citizens. Provide the Korean Identification (KID) Number and Korean Name on the KID for Korean citizens. Provide the vehicle license plate number for attendees who would drive to the USAG Yong San. On the Industry day, attendees are only allowed to come to the USAG Yong San Entrance Gate #13 near Ichon Subway Station and show the US passport for US citizens and the KID for Korean citizens. It would take attendees to drive 5 minutes from the USAG Yong San Entrance Gate #13 near Ichon Subway Station to the USAG Movie Theater. Encourage ridesharing to come to the USAG Movie Theater rather than walking. Parking is NOT available at the Gate #13. However, parking is available at the USAG Movie Theater. Audio and video conference will NOT be available for this event.
