USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a U.S. Personal Services Contract (USPSC) for two (2) Democracy Specialist(s), one position at the GS-13 equivalent level [Remote Telework eligible, with up to 25% overseas travel when needed] and one position at the GS-14 equivalent level [Washington, DC, Telework eligible (3-8 days per pay period) with up to 25% overseas travel when needed] for USAID�s Bureau for Development, Democracy and Innovation (DDI), Center for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG). The Democracy Specialists will be members of the DRG Center�s Policy, Coordination, and Integration (PCI) Team, providing technical support to the Partnerships for Democratic Development (PDD) program and related efforts and the DRG Center as a whole. The PCI Team leads the DRG Center�s engagement on DRG integration and sector-wide DRG policies, strategies, and budgets. The positions will also provide surge support to DRG Center teams, Missions, and DRG-related initiatives and workstreams, with an emphasis on providing such surge support to PDD countries and countries that are part of the Democracy Delivers initiative. The duration of the contract period is anticipated to include a two (2) year base period with three (3) one-year option periods for a total maximum possible period of performance of five (5) years. The solicitation will be published on System for Award Management (SAM). Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor this website for updates on this potential opportunity.
