USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a U.S. Personal Services Contract (USPSC) for four (4) Program Officer(s), four positions at the GS-13 equivalent level [Washington, DC, Telework eligible (3-8 days per pay period)] for USAID�s Bureau for Development, Democracy and Innovation (DDI), Center for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG)/Program Office Team (PRO). The Program Officer may be asked to travel overseas up to once per year on TDY. The Program Officers will be members of the DRG Center�s Program Office Team, leveraging considerable knowledge in procurement; monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL); and/or programming activities in the field of democracy, human rights, and governance to advise and support the development of appropriate and practical approaches. The PRO manages the core program functions for the DRG Center to operate effectively. The duration of the contract period is anticipated to include a two (2) year base period with three (3) one-year option periods for a total maximum possible period of performance of five (5) years. The solicitation will be published on System for Award Management (SAM). Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor this website for updates on this potential opportunity. Except for the above information, no additional information regarding this planned solicitation is available at this time. All necessary information will be supplied at the time the solicitation is issued. USAID will not respond to any questions or requests for information until the solicitation is issued.
