USCG BASE LOS ANGELES/LONG BEACH REFUSE, RECYCLING, ORGANICS, AND BULK WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES

The contractor must supply all necessary labor, equipment, vehicles, fuel, permits, and materials to conduct scheduled waste collection and transportation, ensure proper disposal, and process recyclables and organics in full compliance with California SB 1383 requirements, which mandate the diversion of organic waste from landfills. The scope includes providing all required containers, including a permanent 40-cubic-yard roll-off container specifically designated for bulky waste, and maintaining consistent service throughout the base’s operations to support environmental regulations and operational continuity. The contract is structured with a one-year base period and four additional option years, allowing for extended performance if needed.
