Full Description

The U.S. Coast Guard, Acquisition Directorate, Washington, DC intends to issue a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements contract to Seaspace Corporation. The contract will be for Professional Engineering Technical Representative Services and software maintenance support. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334511. The small business size standard is 750 Employees. The period of performance will be one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month options. The IDIQ contract will be firm fixed-price. The requirement is for Polar Class Icebreaker High Resolution Picture Transmission (HRPT) and Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) System hardware and software materials, training, supervision, and labor, scheduled on board Coast Guard cutters CGC Polar Star (WAGB-10) and CGC Healy (WAGB-20) (above and beyond Coast Guard capability). Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Seaspace Corporation is the sole software and training authority and holds the proprietary rights to this software. Specifications are not available and a solicitation will not be issued.
