Use Permit No. UP 2026-04 (The Picklr)

Use Permit No. UP 2026-04 authorizes the establishment and operation of The Picklr, an indoor pickleball facility located at 1240 E. Yorba Linda Boulevard in Placentia, California. The project occupies an existing tenant space of approximately 22,410 square feet within the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District. In addition to pickleball courts, the facility is permitted to conduct accessory retail sales and related recreational activities. The City of Placentia Planning Commission has designated the project as categorically exempt under CEQA Section 15301 for existing facilities, as the project involves no expansion of the existing structure and presents no adverse environmental impacts. Administrative oversight is managed by the City of Placentia Development Services Department Planning Division, with Andrew Gonzales serving as the Planning Manager and Duyum Dulom acting as the project applicant.
