NOTICE OF AWARD Harris Corporation, Lynchburg, Virginia is awarded a $5,871,051.14 Firm Fixed Price contract to deliver a solution that provides reliable communications capability for First Responders at various Eastern Region United States Marine Corps (USMC) bases and locations. The supplies and services acquired include the preparation, equipment, installation, design, engineering, configuration/optimization, program management, system certification support, testing, documentation training and sustainment tasks required to implement the Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (E-LMR) Eastern Region Infrastructure (ERI) for the USMC. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $16,849,000.11. Work will be performed at various USMC locations and is expected to be completed by 31 March 2016.
