The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) on a small business cascading evaluation preference set aside bais to solicit sources capable of supporting Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) to include blasting and preservation of submarine superstructure on USS FLORIDA (SSBN 728). Offers are restricted to parties holding or able to obtain a Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) Quality Protective Level 1 (QP-1) Certification prior to contract award. This synopsis is for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or any Government commitment. The Government will not reimburse interested parties to this notice for any costs associated with responding or subsequent information exchanges. Future announcements will appear on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov, which interested parties should monitor for updates. The place of performance will be U.S. Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia.
