Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Procurement Code 410, San Diego, CA, intends to solicit and award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price contract for the repair kit (E7239) of parts for Caley Davit Overhaul (model number 1-2160-00) for the USS SAN DIEGO (LPD-22) to Caley Ocean Systems Limited, McCallum House, Watermark Business Park, 375 Govan Road, Glasgow, Scotland, G51 2SE . This sole source contract is for the Caley Davit boat overhaul repair kit. Caley Ocean Systems Limited is the only vendor who can provide the government-specified required items in the overhaul kit. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government will solicit and negotiate with only one source per 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfy the requirement. This notice is NOT a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to request proposals was made and responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government.
