Bid #C-9976-1: The work necessary for the completion of this Contract consists of procuring and installing two permanent generators, one at the City of Newport Beach’s Utility Yard (949 W. 16th Street) and another at the City of Newport Beach’s Corporation Yard (592 Superior Ave) along with associated improvements as outlined in the Plans (Drawing No. B-5543-S). This includes electrical conductor systems, grounding and bonding, conduit, and underground ducts and raceways. The project also involves relocating existing portable generators at both sites to ensure continuous operation during construction, including providing line extensions and/or penetrations as needed. The contractor is responsible for obtaining building permits, complying with SCAQMD, City Public Works, and Building Department inspections, and managing water pollution control measures. The project requires adherence to prevailing wage laws and specific material disposal requirements.
