CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS                                     Project Name: Utility Relocation for ALDOT Project No. DEMOF-RPF-NHF-PRF-A210(943) Woolsey Finnell Bridge Replacement and Approach on SR-6 (US-82) over the Black Warrior River, City of Tuscaloosa, Alabama File Number:OCA-25-1145    Engineering Project Number: 2024.729.001   Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.   Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security.   Project Scope: Utility relocation of existing water and sanitary sewer including approximately 4,238 linear feet of water main (2-inch to 36-inch), 292 linear feet of water main flex ring (24-inch), 2,557 linear feet of water main carrier pipe (8-inch to 36-inch), 1,920 linear feet of water main jack and bore (16-inch to 48-inch encasement), 146 linear feet of water main open cut (30-inch encasement), 11 valves, control valve assembly, 774 linear feet of gravity sewer main (8-inch to 18-inch), 264 linear feet of sewer force main (16-inch), 324 linear feet of gravity sewer pipe flex ring (18-inch), 978 linear feet of sewer main carrier pipe (8-inch to 18-inch), 867 linear feet of sewer main jack and bore (16-inch to 30-inch encasement), 131 vertical linear feet of precast concrete manhole (48-inch), 220 square yards of asphalt patching, pipe bridge, wastewater flow control, landscaping, and miscellaneous appurtenances necessary to complete the work.                                                                                                                                                             Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.   Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of the Tuscaloosa Sewer Department at the Hillard N.
