Full Description

The City of Tallahassee is seeking qualified contractors interested in providing all services, labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide such products and/or services as outlined in this document and attached technical specifications. Contractors shall be licensed by the State of Florida. The license should be applicable to the requirements and regulations under State Statutes. Each individual actually performing the work must possess a valid and subsisting permit issued by the State. The new facility will replace two existing buildings which are not suitable for the intended long-term needs of the Electric and Gas Utility. The existing Utility Supply Center Warehouse is in very poor condition after many years of use and the existing Wire Storage Building is grossly undersized and does not provide adequate protection of wire spools from the weather. This building is intended to house the complete warehouse stock and wire spools stock. This includes the associated storage palettes and racks as outlined in the schematic designs. The existing Wire Storage Building shall be removed and disposed of by the contractor prior to construction of new USC warehouse.
