Full Description

This Solicitation is for the repair of test sets used in conjunction with the Ux Validator during maintenance on the HH-60G helicopter. These test sets are add-ons that can be used in conjunction with the Ux Validator tester, but are not part of the tester itself. This effort is planned as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), three year requirements type contract. The IDS gives continuous indications of the parameters on vertical scales, digital readouts, and status lights. The system consists of a Pilot's display unit (PDU), co-pilot's display unit, and central display unit (CDU), on the instrument panel, No.1 Signal Data Converter (No.1 SDC) and No. 2 SDC, on the shelf front of the instruments panel, and a rotor over speed reset switch, in the avionics compartment. Since the PDU and CPDU are identical, and the No.1 and No. 2 SDCs are identical, the IDS consists of three basic units: PDUs, SDCs, and the CDU. The theory of operation is subdivided into power distribution, faceplate lighting, sensor signal processing, descriptions of the Central Display Unit (CDU) and the Pilot's and Copilot's Display Units, display lighting control, and system interface. STAB/SAS test set PICA: Army (SICA:USAF) NSN: 6625-01-529-3346 Part #: 05-0330-07 ARMY Part Number Air Force part number per TO 2.1: 70700-20650-047 Reduces maintenance and improves aircraft system reliability - Graphical view of the stabilator actuator feedback voltage - Real-time diagnostics - - Wiggle mode intermittent Fault locator - Compatible with all Army, Navy, and Air Force Legacy H-60 Aircraft The H-60 Stabilator/SAS Test set stabilator test displays the stabilator actuator position graphically on the Ux Validator screen to easily view the feedback from the system. Both No. 1 and No. 2 signal paths are displayed simultaneously providing maintainers with complete system interoperability. Stabilator Position Sensor/Limit Switch pod set PICA: Army (SICA:USAF) NSN: 5930-01-607-7256 Part #: 10-1009-56 - Required for M Model Maintenance as Part of H-60M PGSE DSK - On-Aircraft and Bench Adjustment Solution in a single set - Reduces Maintenance and improves aircraft system reliability - Stabilator Position within - 0.2 Accuracy - Allows for Single, - Install-and Forget Adjustment The H-60A/L/M Stab Position/Limit Switch Test Set, when used with an Ux Validator, allows the maintainer to verify and adjust the stabilator position sensor and limit switch settings while on either the aircraft or on the bench. Instrument Display System (IDS) pod set (Army) PICA: Army (SICA:USAF) NSN: 4920-01-592-6411 Part #: 06-0125-65 SPECIFIC FOR ARMY - Reduces troubleshooting and repair times - Allows for on-aircraft diagnosis of the VIDS system - Simulates SDC input signals for display on cockpit CDU/PDU - Engine, Fuel quantity, rotor, transmission - Eliminates need for external meters and jumpers - Single person operation The H-60 Instrument Display system Pod set, when used with the Ux Validator, simulates signals to both SDCs, which in turn, synthesizes these signals to be displayed on the CDU/PDU in the H-60A/L cockpit. The IDS pod set simulates the following signals for input into the SDCs: Torque, TGT, Ng, RPM, Engine Oil Pressure and Temperature, Rotor Speed and Fuel Quantity. The torque, TGT, Ng, RPM and Engine oil pressure and temperature are simulated for both engines. The Ux Validator user interface displays the signal levels for the engine, fuel quantity, rotor and transmission in relation to what should be indicated on the aircraft CDU/PDUs for on-aircraft diagnostics. An Ux Validator is needed to operate the Limit Switch/Stabilator Position Sensor Set, but it is not part of the set. The Ux Validator family of test solutions delivers versatility, ease-of-use and reliability. The Ux Validator, in conjunction with the test sets included in this effort, is used to test various avionics systems on the HH-60G.

RELIABILITY AND MAINTAINABILITY (R&M) ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR HELICOPTER
Solicitation # 27-30029_RFI
The Department of Defense is conducting market research via a Request for Information to identify qualified sources for Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) engineering support for the TH-1H, UH-1N, HH-60W, and MH-139 helicopter platforms. The government intends to utilize a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract structure with a basic period and four to nine option years, potentially extending through FY37. This effort is designated as an 8a set-aside, although other disadvantaged small businesses are encouraged to respond. The selected contractor must maintain a facility in the local area of Robins Air Force Base to support program management and technical writing, while manufacturing and engineering labs may be located elsewhere. The scope of work involves comprehensive engineering services triggered by Engineering Support Task Requests, including root cause analysis of in-service failures, Reliability Centered Maintenance sustainment, and the development of prototypes and technical documentation. Key requirements include the ability to handle Secret classified material, adherence to AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards, and the capacity to provide rapid response for grounded aircraft or mishaps. Contractors are responsible for providing and calibrating their own support equipment, ensuring any replacement parts meet or exceed original quality. Responses to the capability survey are due by November 4, 2026.
