AI Contract Overview
This contract specifies the procurement of a valve assembly under solicitation SPE7MC-26-T-145B with a single unit quantity of one unit, to be delivered within 20 days to the USS FT LAUDERDALE (LPD 28) at FPO AE 09595. The item is identified by NSN 4820-01-694-7836 and purchase request number 7016165692, with delivery terms FOB destination and zero variance in quantity allowed. All packaging must comply with ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129 as directed by DLA’s Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with palletization following DLA packaging standards. The use of mercury or mercury-containing compounds is strictly prohibited unless part of functional components like batteries, sensors, or weapon systems as specified by NAVSEA, and any portable devices containing mercury must include a secondary containment. The contract explicitly bans class I ozone-depleting substances in any phase of manufacturing or processing unless the contracting officer provides written approval, and this restriction overrides other specifications but not performance requirements. The supplier must use traceable shipping methods and avoid parcel post, adhering to DLA procedural notes for vessel shipments. The required delivery date is March 31, 2026, and the contract references Watts Regulator Co part numbers 0387480 and 909RPDA-OSY-GPM FS. All technical, quality, packaging, and environmental compliance standards take precedence and are non-negotiable, with final inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination.
