Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and RP001, utilizing weather-resistant corrugated fiberboard containers with reinforced flaps, manufacturer-certified structural integrity, and die-cut fiberboard cushioning designed to immobilize the product, elevate protrusions from container surfaces, and distribute weight evenly to prevent damage. Plastic packaging must be minimized without compromising protection, and all openings must be sealed with noncorrosive plastic plugs. Marking must conform to MIL-STD-129 with no special marking required.
