JTRS Ground Adaptor Kit
Solicitation # W8485-279401/A
The Department of National Defence, on behalf of the Royal Canadian Air Force, is soliciting offers for the procurement of JTRS Ground Adaptor Kits to support Joint Tactical Radio System Platform I radios in fixed-site Link 16 operational and training environments. The scope of this procurement is limited to the supply of commercially available hardware, specifically 20 DC power supply units capable of nominal 280 VDC continuous duty, 20 rack-mount forced-air cooling trays, and 20 complete sets of factory-terminated power, data/control, timing, and HMIG cables. This requirement is intended to enable radio operation outside of pre-integrated rack solutions and specifically excludes system integration, testing, or operational certification. Due to the need for controlled U.S. Government MIDS Program Office interface specifications, eligible suppliers must possess existing authorization to access this technical data. This solicitation is restricted to Canadian Suppliers, with a preference mechanism that applies a 10 percent reduction to the offer price and a 25 percent weighting for Canadian value-added content during evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the compliant bidder with the lowest evaluated price. All deliverables must be new and received by March 31, 2027, at the designated delivery location in Nepean, Ottawa, Ontario. The initial term runs from the date of award to March 31, 2027, with potential irrevocable options to acquire additional goods through March 31, 2029. Payment for undisputed invoices will be made within 30 days of receipt.
