AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the procurement of a single check valve, identified by NSN 4820-01-697-0066 and part number 1676622, under solicitation SPE7M1-26-T-212F, issued by the Department of Defense through the Maritime Supply Chain. The item is classified as a critical application component and must comply with stringent technical and quality standards referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with revisions controlled by the solicitation issue or award date. The valve must be delivered within five days of contract award to Fort Stewart, Georgia, under FOB Origin terms, with no tolerance for quantity variance. All packaging and marking must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, with no special markings required, and palletization must follow DLA packaging guidelines. The item is to be shipped via traceable freight methods only—parcel post is prohibited—and must be labeled with the specified military freight designation. The contract strictly prohibits the use of ozone-depleting chemicals and the intentional addition of mercury or mercury compounds, except for approved functional uses in batteries, lighting, sensors, weapon systems, or specified naval reagents, with portable items containing mercury needing shock-proof construction and a secondary containment barrier. All substitute materials must be submitted for approval unless explicitly authorized. The point of contact for inquiries is Misty Eckard, and the required delivery date is July 1, 2026, with no need for a ship date indicated.
