NON-MAGNETIC REQUIREMENTS: VALVES ARE TO BE MADE OF MATERIALS HAVING A MAGNETIC PERMEABILITY NOT GREATER THAN 1.08 BEFORE FABRICATION AND NOT GREATER THEN 2.0 AFTER FABRICATION. THIS APPLIES TO THE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY AND NOT TO INDIVIDUAL PARTS. SHOCK AND VIBRATION TESTING IS REQUIRED PER GENERAL NOTE 2.1 AND 2.2. SHOCK TEST CLASSIFICATIONS ARE FOR LIGHTWEIGHT EQUIPMENT, GRADE A, CLASS I, TYPE A, HULL MOUNTED (FOR SURFACE SHIPS) AND HULL/FRAME MOUNTED (FOR SUBMARINE APPLICATIONS), WITH A PIPELINE MOUNTING PLANE AND UNRESTRICTED ORIENTATION. This item has technical data some or all of which is subject to export-control of either the International Traffic in Arms regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and cannot be exported without prior authorization from either the Department of State or the Department of Commerce.
